From first hello to first PR.
No mystery, no pressure. Here's exactly how we go from your free intro to consistent, measurable progress — in the studio or online.
Free intro session
We talk through your goals, history and schedule, then move a little so I can see where you’re starting. No pressure, no commitment — just a real conversation.
Your assessment & plan
A movement + strength screen, baseline numbers, and a program written for your body and your goals. You’ll know exactly what we’re doing and why.
We train the plan
In the studio or in the app — coached, form-checked, and progressed only when it’s earned. Nutrition habits layered in at a pace you can keep.
Measure, adjust, keep it
Regular check-ins track the numbers and the habits. We adjust as you change, and build the maintenance plan so the progress actually sticks.
Two ways in, same coach.
In person · The Forge
Hands-on coaching at the studio in Boise. Best if you’re new to lifting, returning from injury, or you just train better with someone watching every rep. 1:1 and small-group.
Online · Anywhere
Your program in the client app, video form-checks, and weekly written check-ins. Ideal if you have a gym, travel, or live outside Boise. Many clients do a hybrid of both.
Boise & online.
The promises.
Properly Certified
CSCS through the NSCA, NASM-CPT, Precision Nutrition L1, and current CPR/AED. Real credentials, kept current.
Free Intro Session
We meet, talk and move before you commit to anything. If we’re not a fit, I’ll point you to someone who is.
No Lock-In Contracts
Packs and month-to-month coaching. Pause or stop when life happens — no joining fees, no cancellation traps.
Coached By Me
You train with Reese, not a rotating stand-in. I keep a small roster on purpose so every client gets real attention.
Licensed & Insured
Carrying general and professional liability insurance, and trained to coach around common injuries safely.
Honest, Sustainable Coaching
No crash diets, no “shred in 7 days” nonsense. A plan you can keep — because results that last beat results that vanish.
Before you book.
In-person at The Forge in Boise is best if you want hands-on coaching, you’re new to lifting, or you’re returning from injury. Online is ideal if you have your own gym, travel, train on an odd schedule, or live outside Boise — you get a custom program in the app, video form-checks, and weekly check-ins. Plenty of clients do a hybrid of both.
We sit down and talk through your goals, history, injuries and schedule, then move a little so I can see where you’re starting. There’s no obligation and no hard sell — if I’m not the right coach for you, I’ll happily point you to someone who is. You’ll leave knowing exactly what training together would look like.
More than okay — coaching nervous beginners is one of my favourite things. The 3-Session Kickstart is built exactly for this: you’ll learn the squat, hinge, press and pull properly, get a simple starter plan, and leave the gym feeling like it’s a place you belong. No judgement, ever.
Often yes, and safely — I coach around plenty of common issues and regularly coordinate with clients’ physios, OBs and physicians. Personal training is not medical treatment, though, so I’ll ask you to be cleared for exercise by your provider where appropriate, and I’ll stay in my lane and refer out when something is beyond coaching.
